What are Marlette Chamber Bucks? Bucks were designed to encourage people to shop locally, therefore keeping money in our local community. Marlette Chamber Bucks can be purchased in denominations of $5's, $10's and $20's and can only be redeemed by local chamber merchants. Members are listed on the back of each certificate.
What can Marlette Chamber Bucks be used for? They work just like cash and are great for gift giving, bonuses to employees, prize money for community events, etc.
Who can accept Marlette Chamber Bucks? As a chamber member you can receive payment for Marlette Chamber Bucks that you've accepted simply by presenting them at Independent Bank and they will issue you cash or if you bank there you can put them in with your deposit.
Who can purchase Marlette Chamber Bucks? Anyone
Where can Marlette Chamber Bucks be purchased? Currently Chamber Bucks can only be purchased from Independent Bank and at area events though out the year.

The Marlette Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a revised program that should increase business, income, and keep shopping dollars at home.
Companies that have recognition or incentive programs can use the Chamber Bucks Program. Our Chamber Bucks can be given to employees and then in turn, brought to your business for redemption. Through research, the Chamber has determined that a significant amount of money will be invested in our Chamber Bucks. Businesses will benefit by signing up for the program because this money will be reinvested in the community! The public or individual consumer is also free to purchase Chamber Bucks.
WHAT ARE CHAMBER BUCKS? These are $5, $10, and $20 certificates that can be used the same as cash. They can only be purchased through the Chamber and redeemed at participating Marlette businesses. They can only be used for goods and services. These certificates have an expiration date printed on them.
WHEN TO SIGN UP TO REDEEM CHAMBER BUCKS: The program begins NOW!!! Please sign up as soon as possible.
HOW TO SIGN UP TO REDEEM CHAMBER BUCKS: Chamber members can sign up to redeem Chamber Bucks by dues annually to the Chamber. Non-members will be able to participate, but are required to pay $20.00 annually to be in the program in 2008. Your business name will be placed on a list and printed on the back of the Chamber Bucks. You will receive a sign to let customers know that you participate in the program.
HOW TO REDEEM CHAMBER BUCKS THAT HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED FROM CUSTOMERS: Please bring your Chamber Bucks to the Independent Bank. You will receive cash for the amount of the CHAMBER BUCKS redeemed at your business.
HOW TO PURCHASE CHAMBER BUCKS: Call the Amy Farnum at Independent Bank with the number and the value of Chamber Bucks needed. There will be a 10% discount offered to all purchasers at different events through out the year, i.e. Country Fair Days, Holiday Open House weekend, etc...
WHO CAN PURCHASE CHAMBER BUCKS: Anyone can purchase Chamber Bucks!
