Marlette Fire Department consists of 22 volunteer firemen and responds to an estimated 100-120 emergencies each year. The Department is responsible for fire suppression, fire prevention, building maintenance and inspections. The department maintains six pieces of fire apparatus. This includes two pumpers, one tanker, one rescue rig, and two grass rigs. The JAWS of life is one of Marlette's most valued pieces of rescue equipment.

FIRE RUN RATES

Fire runs - Flat $1,100.00 per hour for first hour, 1/2 hour increments there after at $550.00. There is no separation between structure fires and/or car fires, etc.

False alarms are billed at $250.00 per occurance.
