Marlette Park & Pool

This park is a 17-acre community park located on the third block east of VanDyke Rd (M-53) on Chard Street. The park contains tennis courts, softball diamonds, various playgrounds for kids of all ages, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, 3 picnic pavilions, an 8-hoop basketball court, and numerous areas for picnics. All of these are provided plus a swimming pool, complete with a splash pad and bath house. The Marlette Pool is fun for all ages! Swim lessons, season passes, facility reservations, and night swims are offered. The construction of the pool house is underway, stay tuned for information about the upcoming pool season!

Reservations
Contact City Hall at 989-635-7448 to make reservations for the pavilions or the softball fields. Pavilions are available for birthday parties, reunions, picnics, etc. There is a $65 reservation fee for city residents and a $75 reservation fee for non-city residents per pavilion. The softball fields have a reservation fee of $25 per field for pre-scheduled use by area leagues for games.

Group Rates 
Group rates are also available for private use of the pool. Contact City Hall at 989-635-7448. Fees for group events are:

Swim Lessons (to be announced)
Swim lessons are held in 30 minutes sessions. The registration fee is $40 and you can preregister by calling the pool at 989-635-2986. Lesson times vary depending on the number of registrants. Please visit or call the pool at 989-635-2986 for more information.

Safety
The Marlette Park and Pool have certified American Red Cross lifeguards who have been taught the skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize, and respond to emergency situations as they occur. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact City Hall at 989-635-7448.
