City Manager

The City Manager is responsible for the administration of all departments on a daily basis with the exception of the police and legal departments. The City Manager prepares and submits an annual budget to the City Council, carries out the policies of City Council, and performs administrative functions of the City of Marlette. The City Manager also serves as the zoning administrator, accepting and reviewing all zoning permits and overseeing the enforcement of the zoning ordinance. The City Manager is hired by City Council.
